I wouldn’t celebrate. Tonight's Tennessean says it’s a done deal, in spite of universal opposition. I’m sending the article to you. If indeed DeLapp has installed the restrictions, it would be in direct conflict with Senators Alexander’s “suggestions”.
I know your going to be your Wife's best physical therapist in the coming weeks, but can you ask someone to scout the Tennessee sites of question. I can drive to the dam sites, but I wouldn’t know how to recognize changes.
If indeed the Corps has installed their signs, one can assume that more physical barriers are likely to follow. With that, more direct intervention by congressional leaders will be necessary, if not a suit in Federal Court.
I would be willing to take part as a representative of a coalition presenting grievances directly to Senator Alexander and /or any other contingent of Senators and Congressman that we could schedule for a meeting. Even if it’s in DC...
