THE SAFETY MESSAGE FOR TODAY: Seek local information if fishing in unfamiliar waters. The headwater elevation is 444.9 feet above mean sea level, and the tail water is 386.10 feet above M.S.L.
The lake water is cloudy.
The morning surface water temperature at the Rockland fishing pier is around 80F.
Fishing is good.
Bass and Crappie are beginning to go on bed as the water warms and are being caught using minnows, crankbaits, and Texas rigs.
Bluegill can be caught using worms, crickets and small lures around brush piles and other structure.
Sauger are being caught below the dam using jigs.
Normal summer pool and normal winter pool is 445.00 feet above mean sea level.
Generating ScheduleThe generation schedule for June 22, 2012, calls for no generation, however we will be spilling 4300 cfs around the clock for water quality.
