Local Crappie Fishing and Tackle

Is Priest or Old Hickory better for crappie? When does activity pick up, where are some good places, and what baits work best? Do you all use dedicated crappie rigs or just put lighter line on a regular spincast?

I'd say it just depends on who you ask and what they are used to fishing. Judging by reports on here, the best place for crappie is where ever Alphahawk's car is parked at that day.

Crappie can be caught a bunch of ways. Some guys on here catch a bunch trolling, on jigs and with live bait.

fatherof4 & Alphahawk are a couple off the top of my head to search their threads. One trolls for them almost all the time and the other fishes light line and trout/crappie magnets but both catch fish really regular.
