Anybody been on the lake since the rains, and how was the water color near the 109 bridge ?

I don't know about near the 109 bridge but I fished several spots from the bank today and the water looked like it always does. Have you or anyone else heard what the conditions are like right below the dam? I want to fish that tailwater but not if it's the color of chocolate milk and full of debris.

We just came in from fishing the GSP. Put in at Flipper's.
As this is only the 2nd time on this river I can't really give a good report. However I would call the water "dirty". Certainly not chocolate milk colored. Looked like normal river water to me. We never saw any real debris in the water.

GoFish,
Old hick has a greenish tint to it this time of year and visibility of about 3 ft during ideal conditions. If it has a more brownish tint, it is because of run-off. Hopefully it will clear up by Sunday. I do significantly better with clearer water, especially for striped fish.
