The last few times my dad and I went fishing, the bite has been awful. We tried JPP seven points and Hobson pike bridge, and Station Creek on OH. I've never ever had such terrible lack of bites while bank fishing before. My dad was so excited to take a vacation to Tennessee so he could fish, and now he's lost interest. He's going back to India next week and I want to take him somewhere to catch some fish this weekend. We fish from the bank. Anyone has any suggestions on a place on JPP for some bank fishing? Need just the bites, don't need big fish, we'll be very happy with bluegills. Any advice is very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Vincent.

Vincent. Try Long Hunter park, lots of rock ledges with cover.

Caught a bunch near Lamar hill boat ramp on JPP this last weekend on nightcrawlers. Not much size but the quantity was there if you just want to catch.

Went to Lamar Hill ramp..Fish were jumping there, but there was hardly any place to cast and move around (except at the boat ramp). So, dad and I went to Stewart Creek...First 1.5 hours nothing. Then we switched to red wigglers from meal worms, and caught about 10 small gills. My dad's content that at least there was a bite!
