After loosing my teaching job in Wilson County due to budget cuts, I have been hired at Smyrna High School in Rutherford county. The pay is actually 8k more per year! Go GOD!

Don't be taking those kids to Percy Priest on field trips for fishing. Congrats and welcome to Rutherford county. You may like it so much you may want to move here.

Congrats!
Congrats!
I'm afraid we're going to be losing some teachers from Sumner County due to budget cuts here too very soon.
The idiocy of cutting so much from public education while letting waste go untouched elsewhere in the budget is hard to fathom.

I heard that on the radio. They were in big trouble the way they talked and haven't even started school yet

Good thing they finally agreed to let schools back in but i'm afraid they might let some positions go.
Not sure why they needed an extra $7mil for one year all for putting GPS's on the school buses.
