It is a nice lake. Fickle at times but really good in the spring. Little tough in summer due to moss. If you have a small boat, you can catch fish.

So far I have been twice. Once with my 3y/o son from the bank he caught a small bluegill and a turtle. The other time I put my small boat in. Caught 1 small mouth. It was windy as crap and was kinda hard to fish and use my hand controlled trolling motor. I will go back. It's close to me..

The city lake is good in the spring when bluegill bed there are lots of big ones but you need a boat to get to the beds. I've caught several 2-3 lbs largemouths there early in the morning on top water.

I have been 4 or 5 times. I have not caught anything but small and large mouth. I like the mornings cause of the shade. I have only used plastic worms. " Still Learning what to use " This was the latest. Hung him in his top lip. My cheap scale said 3#. Who knows.
