Ok, just about everything I have, lure-wise, is geared towards LM bass i.e. the biggest lures I have are 3" crankbaits, 1/2 oz jigs and spinnerbaits, 4" or 5" flukes and 10.5" 'Ol Monster worms. What are some good artificials for stripers (that won't break the bank)?

The 4 and 5 inch flukes are good, white, silver, shad colored.

Berkeley 4", 5", and 6" swim baits work great and around $5 for a pack of 3!

Below dams from the bank in current take some 1oz white bucktails jigs and put a white curly tail worm like you'd fish with a jighead on it. You can cast it a mile and get it down then bounce it along the bottom.
Other than that 5"-7" Cordell Redfins are hard to beat or big pencil poppers for schooling fish.

This is an effective method but be prepared to lose a lot of lures.

Catch some skipjack below the dam and free swim them on a planer board! Free live bait is hard to beat!

Thanks guys...and to think, I was in the Bass Pro shop yesterday (mainly drooling over the Tracker boats). I'll have to pick a few lures up here soon and see what I can do.
