Well I decided to venture away from Tim's Ford Lake to chase some stripier on the Cumberland above OH. From what I have heard slow trolling planer boards with skipies is the way to go. My biggest question is what would be my best area to fish. Any other advice would be much appreciated. Always hard figuring out a new area. Hope to post some pics after the weekend.

My biggest success came from doing what you are doing below Cordell Hull Dam, especially right under the bridge where the Cumberland and The Caney come together!

One question about Cordell Hull. Is it safe to put in at the ramp by the dam when they have two generators running. I have a fairly large 20 ft boat. I just wouldn't want to get into a bad situation.

Thanks for the info

Oh yeah the water current is not that bad that you will have trouble, there is another ramp on the left after you cross the bridge on the left. Turn Left at the light, Wal-Mart will be on the right. Boat ramp on the left after you turn.

The way the water levels looked yesterday, I don't think you have to worry Much about the generators. Looks like they.might be collecting dust :)
