So I went out to a new property near Slayden that i had received access to turkey hunt. I met the landowner out there early saturday morning and we tried out our luck at calling in some big toms....well that didn't turn out at all!! Then we were driving around on the 4-wheelers checking out the boundries of the property. We came across about a 1 acre lake. He said there were some SMALL bluegill in it and that they had stocked bass in it a year ago. He told me to fish if I had any rods with. Well I am always prepared for fishing and went and started tossing some baits. I started with a 1/8 oz jig tipped with a crappie magnet. I never switched to anything else! I caught tons of bluegills in the half pound to some pushing 10-12 oz!(not too small! HAHA!) I had my ultralight and was having a blast. Then I came across a school of the stocked bass! Caught atleast 50 bass from 10-12 inches! Awesome on the ultra light!
I did my best at trying to get a good jumping shot while fighting the fish at the same time! Not an easy task! HAHA! Hope you like the pics!
Still trying to get a big rockfish or hybrid photographed while being battled!

That is a pretty gill, and I love the action photoes. A good picture will be when you get a rockfish at the surface with his dorsal and tail fins breaking the surface, while it gets a better look at you.

I am still trying to figure that one out. I guess distance that I would have to drive would determine a bit of it.
I would really wish to target fisherman in the photography business. Lets take a poll, how much would you guys be willing to spend if you wanted some professional pics of you fishing and action shots of the fish you catch?

$100.00 bucks! Thats if I caught fish, you would have to figure out what you would charge if no fish were caught.

Yeah, I thought of that too. If someone would hire me and then they get skunked. They would just get a bunch of cool photos of them fishing. I guess some work has to be done on my part! Thanks for the info!
Maybe we could trade a jugging trip for a photo tag along:-)

Mnfisher,
Let me know when you want to go juggin. I go below Old Hickory dam at least once a week. Usually an open seat in the boat.
Goin trolling for hybrids in the morning at JPP. Early start, want to launch the boat at 5AM.

Do you ever fish afternoons or on weekends? I work 6-2:30 mon-fri.

MN, I fish whenever the urge strikes me. I habitually stay off JPP on the weekends because of the pleasure boaters but do make forays out sometimes.
And now that summer has arrived, I don't mind fishing into the evening. I don't do it too often before the DST change beecause I hate driving home in the Nashville traffic.
If you'd like to go of an afternoon sometime, let's pick a good weather forecast and go.
What species do you like to chase?
Juggin I can do anytime as the launch below OH is 20 minutes from my house. Right now they are flowing 19,200 cfs. Might be a little swift. Plus, all my jugs have 12 ft of line (I normally fish them a couple feet off the bottom to avoid a lot of hangups, still get enough when they float out to the sides of the river) and right now the river would be about 17-19 ft deep on average. I'd either have to add line to them or wait til it went down to about the 14 ft mark again. (I know, folks, in some stretches it is deeper and it varies, just talking about the average at summer pool of 386.) I know of a stretch above the OH bridge where it will be 23-24 ft deep now.
