Went to Center Hill today to pick up my two new Coosas. Fished about one and a half hours before going over to get them. Caught 20 big Gills. Caught 8 Smallies. The smallest one being 14 inches and the biggest one being 18 inches. Had 3 Pigs get off....couldn't turn them using 2# test line and fishing 2# test fluorocarbon leader. Fish were caught using "Purple Redemption" Trout Magnet. Only took two small pics as it was just too much time to do camera by myself....fish were out of water too long. My son and I will be going to this same hole as we do every Spring and will get plenty of pics then.

yer the crappie/trout magnet king!!!

It is a great lure. Wouldn't head out in heavy cover using my technique to pull six pound Large Mouth out of it....LOL. Hopefully if we do not get flooded again this spring my son and I will have lots of Smallie pics to show. But even if the water gets up I now have the kayaks to get to them.

I also have a tm or cm tied on. It is tough to land a bigger fish with them. Best panfish bait out there.

I seen your kayak pic and thought now there's a coffee table. :D

Nice catches. You should be able to get after those Duck River smallies with the coosa's.

Trout magnet and Crappie magnet are great lures. I have been using them for many years and written articles about them. Fish like them 365 days a year.

It is a great panfish lure...but I have no problem landing 6 pound Smallies...big sow White Bass......Browns in the 7 pound range....but it is not something you want to go after a 40 pound Striper with...although I have had them hit it and spool all my line off....LOL.

Good looking fish and boats Alpha.

I saw you today I was headed north on Nashville Highway out of Columbia and you were heased south not long after 2pm. I was in the Burgendy Z71 (Hook 1 Edition) with Hobie Pro Angler (Hook 1 Edition). I was wondering who got new kayaks and knew at least one was a Coosa and maybe one a Cuda.

Congrats on the Coosa's they are fun river boats we have 2 of them and get a lot of enjoyment out of them. If you have any questions or want to see what we have done to ours just ask. Or if you have any questions at all for that matter.

Thanks Jeremy......usually I could have told you every vehicle I would pass on a trip. But not that day...LOL. My focus was on those boats on my roof. First time I had ever car topped. I can see right now a trailer is in my future. I will be going to the Hook 1 shop in Hendersonville over the next 6 months to rig these up. I am sure I will be hitting you up for tips and ideas. Thanks again.
