Corps website says it's current. Something for you guys to keep in mind while out there fishing.

I have a picture of dad holding a drum bigger than that 9lb record and I'd venture to guess some you guys may have caught some crappie bigger than the 2lb one listed.

Lets see if someone can beat Billy's smallmouth, the 11 lb largemouth or that toad KY Bass and I guess at one time there were hybrids in the lake.

I have caught huge Drum below Pickwick Dam and as little as 11 years ago you could catch Hybrid that would go 15 pounds down there.....but Hybrid are not caught down there like they used to be. Two pounds for a Crappie where I fish below the dam is common and I have caught quite a few 3 pound Crappie there. Of course technically that would be fishing in KY Lake and not Pickwick. For you guys that fish below the dam at Old Hickory is there anyway to fish close to the dam from the bank? Can you fish from the bank where the boats would lock through? A lot of times in between the bank and lock down from the dam one can catch good fish holding in there. I should say that is easy to get down to.

I've caught serval 15' crappie that may of been over 2lb's. What's the process on how to confirm a record if your out there and catch one?? Does a TWRA offical need to see your fish? I fish OH about 100% of the time, u never know what could be on the other end of your line.

The link in Travis C's post below tells you what to do. That is the first time I have ever heard of official lake records. That is interesting as the TVA lakes do not have that. You will here of a so called lake record at KY lake or at Pickwick Lake but there is nothing official for a lake record on a TVA lake. I know of course that TWRA has the Master Angler award for all specie of fish and the TWRA web site gives you the length each fish should be to qualify for the award. I ran across In-Fisherman Magazine specs for their Master Angler Award and the weight and lengths they put on each specie is quite large.
