Hello everyone. Thought about going to Priest this weekend and trolling for Crappie. Got some crawfish colored and chartreuse crankbaits. Any info would be greatly appreciated. New to TN and trying to figure out how to catch some of these slabs.

i'm not doing any good crappie fishing, but i've been reading some of jim duckworths articles and he swears by bandit 100s, 200s, 300s, and 700s trolling over structure. i'm going to try them this weekend.

Go early in the morning...this weekend the water will probably be covered with pleasure boats/jet skis. I'd focus on the areas around Fate Sanders.

ive had success with bandit 200 and 300s.colors-blu/chrome,blue/char,purple or olive splaatter back.not much luck with tiger or crawfish colors.i rarely ever catch one under 10in. while trollin and always catch a variety of fish.crappie, drum, yella bellys, hybrid, even an occasional catfish.let the fish tell ya what color they want fer the day.
