Nick-A-Jack 8-18-2011
Good friend David Honey and I made a 5 hour trip to Nick-A-Jack today and had a couple good hours before the sun got high and hot. The first place we pulled into we hung a heavy fish (that we didn't see) and caught one on a Trigger X 10 inch Hammer Worm www.triggerx.com (http://www.triggerx.com/) rigged weightless on a VMC 8313 Round Bend #5 Worm Hook www.vmchooks.com (http://www.vmchooks.com/) and Sufix Pro Mix 10lb Test Mono www.sufix.com (http://www.sufix.com/) We also had 5 blow ups on a Tigger X Frog that we didn't stick. Just before we left I lost another good fish on a Prowler Drop Shot Worm www.prowlerlures.com (http://www.prowlerlures.com/) and David got broken off at the boat on a shaky head. I have had several phone calls asking why I haven't been posting reports. Simple every since I had the heat stroke several years ago on Old Hickory I just can't handle the heat and I don't take chances. Cooler day are coming and Lord willing I will have pic's and info to share. Thanks for visiting my site. Rick McFerrin www.tennesseebassguides.com (http://www.tennesseebassguides.com/)
