Friday morning I headed over to east Tennessee, Sarah came late that night. We met up with Professional Kayak Angler Ben Adrien to catch Sarah's first Striper, and Brown Trout, there was also some fly rod smallie action mixed in. What a great weekend, and muscles are a little sore from pulling planer boards for miles. Read the full story here with pictures http://kbfunleashed.com/

BD,
The boards we pull are custom made by Tim Adrien http://monsterstripes.com/index.html you may have herd of him. I don't think he sells them though. The only thing about pulling boards behind the kayak is watching them. Keeping your head turned for miles while paddling is not the best for your neck. They create very little resistance, and the kayak is perfect for maintaining a good speed, not creating noise that may spook fish, and great control of your baits. I'm starting to really enjoy Striper fishing, and trying to learn as much as possible. I'm mainly a black bass kind of guy, but the linesides are gaining ground.

If you have a rod holder recep in front of you then you could attach it to a rod with a ski mirror to a base that wll fit into it...might do the trick.
