This weekend has been a long one for our family.
My grandmother lost her battle with cancer on friday. She was one of the toughest yet sweetest person I have ever known. As dad would say she was tougher than woodpecker lips. Granny had breast cancer in 2003 at the age of 77 spreading to her liver and spine. She battled it through weekly chemo treatments since onset and only had a couple two week breaks in the 8 years.
We knew the day would come but that makes it no easier. Our time is so short here and she will be missed greatly. But the most important thing is she will be in no more pain and rejoined with my grandfather who we lost in 2004.
Thanks everyone.
