It is with Deep regret that I inform you that Mr. Merv Johnson was found at Saundersville Boat Ramp in Hendersonville.

He was Also a Vietnam Veteran and Military K9 handler. RIP

I just learned about Merv this morning. It saddens me deeply. He was a wonderful friend.

I saw this on the news. Sure hated to hear it. I never met him, but sorta felt like I knew him from his activity here on Fishing TN That article said "elderly man..." I bet that would have ticked him off! He seemed like a genuine badass in good shape to me! RIP Merv.
