I've been out there 3 times in the last few weeks and it's on FIRE right now... from what I've experienced, when that lake is on its ON! I caught probably a dozen fish this past Monday, biggest being just shy of 5 lbs, 20.75"... they're all coming out of 5-10 FOW on 3" swimbaits, water temps have been anywhere from 46-51... Fishing mid lake up into Kentucky!

Here's a few pics and a video of my day there Monday!

I've never been to DH.. Judging from your video, it looks alot like OH with its bluffs.

There is similar bluff walls but even on its worst day Dale Hollow has way cleaner/clearer water and it is WAY deeper than OH... Rock bottom vs mud bottom lol I love Old Hickory though, it's the lake I learned to fish on.

Cool, glad I go to Canada though. Only been to Dale Hollow one time in my life, fished from the bank and caught several smallmouth, one was close to 3 lbs. But I have never went back and most likely won't, well if I could figure out walleye, I might but most likely not. We don't try and still catch over 50 walleye a day in Canada. And I don't care to fish in cold weather and it would take 70 to 80 smallmouth a day to get me to go, and then the average fish would have to be about 3-1/2 pounds. That is an average day in Canada.

That sounds like a good day, but Dale Hollow is about as good as it gets in Tennessee for quality smallmouth... Very few people get the chance to go up to Canada, I'm sure it's a great experience!
