Does anyone know what kind of new vegetation is showing up on Old Hickory? I was out a little while ago and it was being blown around Drakes Creek. Kind of reminds me of what we called Cabbage in South MS.

Hydrilla or coon tail. Not a grassologist so I’m not sure.

It's both. I went to the lower end a couple days ago like u suggested and found both millfoil and coontail. You were right about the fish being in it to. I quite a few dinks and 2 keepers under 2lbs.

This summer I caught some really good fish out of the hydrilla, but the size has went down and the numbers have went up.
