Finished nursing school in December and I'm working in a trauma unit now. I haven't been able to get out much to fish. I was going to go trout fishing last week but the rivers were too high. I decided to do some pond hopping for some largies. Caught four decent little chunks. Used a pumpkin purple flake senko on a wacky rig set up.

Woo Pig Soooie!

Nice fish. I need to start trying the whole wacky rig deal. I've never tried it but it's a very proven technique.

Wacky rigs and Ned rigs are my go to when the bite is slow. Those two set ups rarely fail to get a nibble on pressured fish for me.

Congrats on your graduation. Thanks for the tip on the Ned rig. When I saw your post I got to thinking. I never used a Ned rig. Bought Green Pumpkin and 1/10 heads on Tuesday. My wife and I were near PP yesterday and I convinced her that I should try a my new lure. Had 3 LM in 15 minutes. Broke off in some rocks and wife said time to go.
This just might become my favorite bait.

If you caught a 10 pound bass and wanted to release it but it just wasn't coming to life, would you give it mouth to mouth? ;)
