Was thinking about joining boatus for emergency on the water. I have a pretty new boat but I really don't have many friends to call if I have an issue on the lake. I mainly fish old hickory so not too worried there but get nervous if I'm going to try new lakes. Just curious if anyone has any experience, good or bad.

Why not get a Boat fishing alliance with users here to help with tow situations.

I would tow a Member to a dock in a heart beat!!

BoatUS is partnered with Geico marine insurance. I've never had to use it, but you never know..

It's handy to have but make sure you ask what lakes they cover, had to get a tow one winter day on the upper end of old hick and waited 5 hours, it's worth the money, go with the unlimited plan I think it was about $150 a year

Check your boat insurance. Most companies have bow towing included or as an add on for much cheaper.
