It was a hot year for the Caney. Probably the warmest water ever. I even caught 5 channel cats at the in November. Heat is hard on the bows.

Overall a great day.
Wish I could go every day.

Caney is constantly being stocked.....it is a year round fishery. If you want to be up there when they dump a load of trout they usually will dump on a Thursday and or Friday around 10:00 a.m. They dump several locations but one is always at the campground side boat ramp.
