Wow had a great day saturday across the lake from Shuttes Branch! Just Got some new pink Lemonade Berkley Flicker minnows in a #9 size. had to order them from Berkley but was well worth it. I was catching them one after another! Could not even keep my line in the water for very long without my drag squeeling! Many fish well over 36" and lots of 20 " fish landed. I actually caught 20 fish or more total! Was a awesome morning with the full moon in the sky!

Sweet! Good work, was that trolling? What depth range? I marked a crap-ton of fish while idling around the main channel ledges in the lower end Sat & Sun but went to the 10-12’ Zone fan casting a rattle trap and caught a bunch of large mouths.

Looks like a stellar day to me! At least somebody's caching those lower end stripers.

Nice fish. Never went stripper fishing at old hickory, is trolling the main method or does anyone cast for them?

They were all caught in 18 to 22 feet of water, 5o yards or so from the boat docks. The best places were, where there was a mouth opening to a cove. I was spotting baitfish on my fish finder . Watch for where the birds are dropping from the sky to catch bait. The stripers were pretty much everywhere. i got a early start and there was still fog on the water. once the sun burned it off they were hitting hard. they started slacking off around 11 am.
