Had a pretty decent day below Nickajack Dam today. I caught 12 KY bass and 2 Smallies......the spotted bass were all in the 13 inch range...fat fish.....the Smallies were both at 14 inches. I was using a Midnight Blue ThunderHawk Dancer on a 1/8 ounce Dancer jig head. The rod was a Major Craft Truzer Ajing 6' 5" UL "Hard model". The line was 2# test SOS. When the KY bass would hit the rod would load up and the battle was on...when the 2 Smallies hit there was no loading up.....they tried to rip it out of your hand. Had to troll today....I could not find a huge concentration of fish in one spot that would stay put. So I found a line that the fish were moving in an out on and I just used the track back feature on the trolling motor and would keep going over same route. It was good to see jaycee down there today. Will hit it again next week.

Was wondering what you fish out of, that's a sweet little rig. The Trout Magnet logo looks really good on it too.

Thanks for the comments. If I did not have the suspension seat up front that boat would have been sold a long time back. That seat really tamed the ride up front.

It is and if you use that ramp...take heed. One of the slickest ramps I have even seen. Young and old alike can break a leg there. The water had gone down a few weeks back when a buddy had met me down there. Had to put his truck in 4 wheel drive to get the boat out.

The one at the big blue bridge is good ramp. That's the one we use.
