Anybody have any idea as to what the bass will be doing on priest in the next two weeks and things I could do to catch them? Still trying to learn priest and can't figure much out

My guess is that for the next two weeks the bass will be eating smaller fish. :D

But in all seriousness I wouldn't expect much of a pattern change just yet. Toward the end of September the fishing should improve as the water temps slightly drop. Stick to early mornings and the hours before sunset. During the day the temps will be blazing hot and the bass will be tough to catch.

Caught them early last Friday in the jumps right off the main channel on a flat and out in open water. We found some more sitting on a ledge coming off a point. With the high 80's water temps they should still be in summer pattern. I am going to try and get out this week and see if I can find some crappie, I need to refill the freezer.

Well I guess I'll see what I can do Saturday. I'll leave a report if i can catch any. Any more suggestions?

Caught 3 keepers. About 25 fish total. If you were throwing plastics that looked like craws you were catching them.
