Fished Pickwick today. The water schedule was to be 4 or more generators from 10.00 a. m. That didn't happen until 1:00 p. m. Fishing was tough....couldn't find any Gills or whites. The flow has not been normal all summer down there.....plus I have not fished too much this summer. But did find some largemouth. Caught 12 fish.....all cookie cutter same as in the pic. Caught them on a Midnight Blue Dancer on a Micro Dancer 1/8 ounce jighead. Used a Major Craft Truzer 6' 5" UL Hard model....strung with 4# test NanoFil with a 2 ft section of 4# test Phantom fluro leader. These fish came off of a gravel bank in 4 feet feet of water off of a strong current seam. This time of year the fish below the dam are fat. While largemouth were not my target today it sure was fun....much better than getting skunked. Water temps were 84.5 degrees. Fall is in the air...life is good!
