Hung 2 A-rigs in a brushpile and this is what my A-rig retriever looked like when I got it all back.

Yup, I got those two back, but got hung up in a brushpile today and didn't get those three back! High winds prevented any meaningful boat control PLUS my retriever was still on my workbench at home, not detangled from the day before.
Today was the first time I ever called a trip at halftime because of low fuel possibly and high winds.
I had to run the outboard all day to keep batteries charged due to fighting high winds with the TM all day.

I hear ya! i was "done fishing" about 1. i just cruised the shallows back to ramp till about 2:30 scanning and casting once in a while. Seems like any lake i have ever fished anywhere in the country, a north wind no matter how strong just spells disaster. You just cant seem to find calm water (for sanity sake) anywhere in a north wind. Doesnt even have to be a direct north either it seems.
Just bums me out. Lol

How are you charging batteries while running the outboard? Is this something I can add to my boat?

This is an awesome company with customer support like you've never seen before.
I've also got a system from them that goes from the truck to the boat and charges the boat batteries while I'm driving.

Thank you. Price... nothing listed on the site. I am sure it's a bit much for my boat at the moment.

Total price for Stealth system (I also already had a three bank charger onboard ) was $700.00. That include the $140 for the truck - trailer setup, which yu really won't need.
I run bait tanks and aerators 24-7 when I'm live bait striper fishing so I'm constantly using battery even while traveling to the lake and back.

That's not bad considering you will never have to worry about dead batteries. I think I will wait till I buy my next boat.... in a year or so :)

Verrrrrry long jumper cables from truck to boat are cheaper.
If you want to go total Red Neck this is inexpensive:

Merv has $10,000 in electronics that can spot a minnow under a rock and being a damn yankee he runs through an under water forest.

Seemed like a good idea at the time....
