Went out on the lower stones today and man talk about high water we almost couldnt get under the bridge near the mouth but we just made it and boy was the river rolling, there was a good 6 mph drift going down the river and a nice shade of chocolate. We turned around and headed up the stones a ways and ran into some whites, caught 3 that each went 15-16" and a few throwbacks plus one nice 22" lineside that was the only picture fish of the day no trout, rockies or gills this trip they are there just couldnt get any to bite. River was about 18ft over normal summer pool.

Good Luck N Happy Fishing

Nice.

Did the tailwater float from the dam down to the C last Saturday and struck out completely. Anyone catching fish in that much water, has my hat-tipped in respect.

Likewise the cumberland was rolling so much last week, we tried the confluence a while then called it a day.

Nice lineside and thanks for the update. I was wondering if the whites are moving up in there yet.

They are there just not in great numbers, give it a couple of weeks n it should get real good once the water hits the 50's and climbing

I can't wait. I have devised a popping cork rig that will work on my flyrod.

It's gonna be fun!
