High Guys, Just starting a monthly (or so) flyer on membership projects and tech tips. So if you have the time write the membership and or pictures about any projects you have going on and any tech tips. Also we (The membership) can assist with any questions or problems on a local level. So "reply to all" when sending in your information, or have problems and questions ... I am sure somebody has been down that road before.


Here is before and after pictures (almost) of a TD-20 I am restoring for a gentleman. Not quite finished ... I'll send a finished pic when completed .. Here are a couple of before and where we are now.

Randy, it is hard to say ... I try to work on a project everyday but sometimes that does not happen. A lot of things are in the mix .. Bead blasting, Body work for dents, dry time for paint, first primer, then wet sand before final coat of paint. Buffing time for the brass and stainless steel. and every thing depends if I am restoring a static motor for display only or a fully functional outboard that will run like new... I guess one of the quickest restoration that I stayed on everyday was the 1913 Evinrude 2 HP rowboat motor. It was also the hardest, do to the brass. It took me 3 months non stop to complete that one... I'll try to dig up a pic of this one ..<'TK><:)

Great looking motor. A lot of attention to detail. I'm sure you have some happy clients after doing one of those.
