I have a couple days off and wondered how bad this rain is going to mess up Preist? I wanted to fish out of Jefferson, but might have to stick with 7 points.

Any advice?

Stick with the lower end of the lake. It takes a little longer for the muddy water to get there

I agree with fishing the lower end. I believe JPP is less susceptible to minor lake level fluctuations and with the winter pool pull right now it may just turn out to be exceptional fishing. The cool front will have more of an influence than the muddy water. I would fish transitions points and search chunk rock for small mouth and spots adjacent to deeper water.

Jefferson is a no go. I drive over it on my way to work and this morning it looked like creamed coffee with lots of sticks floating around.

I am out in Suggs Creek/ 7 Points, some debri floating but not to bad, water about normal color. I am Spider rigging 6 rods in 12 to 16 ft and have 5 crappie with only 2 keepers so far.

Thanks in advance
