Heading out Friday morning-didnt know if anyone had any patterns they would
Like to share regarding largemouth or smallmouth on the main river, will be putting in rock harbor and fishing that area.

Anybody still seeing any white bass or
Smallmouth? Having trouble patterning the late summer fish. Any tips are appreciated!

Planning on trying it out this afternoon launching from Shelby Park.
Havent been much this summer, but have gotten some numbers on buzzbaits. A DT6 or squarebill usually gets a few, with the occasional big drum.

We caught quite a few fish on buzzbaits. Smallest was right around 7" Biggest was pushing 12"

It was fun though!

When we got back to the ramp, some guys in a bass boat had a bass that weighed more than all ours combined in their livewell. They told us we were fishing on the wrong side of the river.

That always seems to be the case with me when i fish a new stretch of that river. The shoreline features ive found arent always the best clue on where to fish. Lol...50/50 shot and im wrong 1/2 the time. Lol
