After almost 3 months of one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had I ordered a boat today. It is not the boat I started looking at 3 months back. It will be built the way I want and is a pretty simple ride. It will take two months before it is ready but will be here in time for the fall bite. Pretty pumped about it. Pretty much like boat in pic except I ordered spray in liner and the battery.....fuel compartment will be covered. The rod locker will extend to front deck.

Looks like a lean, mean, fishin machine!
We all should probably take our vacation time and stock up on the fish before you get that in the water. You get that SI bird on there, fish won't have a chance.
Looks great, hope you enjoy it!

Can't wait, Randy. WE will sure enjoy that one (it has two seats). I can bring some cheap champagne to break on the bow for the maiden voyage.
I want first bid when you sell it in about 6 months.
Seriously, that is a fine looking boat.

How's it going to be powered, and what trolling motor? Looks like a fine craft, and fish will have no place to hide.

Recently talked with a fellow at PP who was using a jet drive OB. Said he can run wide open in 4" of water and can run the Caney at most any water level.
Woe be the fish if Randy can go in places the plastic Navy goes. :)

Power will be from a Mercury 40 HP four stroke. Trolling motor will be an Ulterra 80# iPilot. Will have the HB 899 si up front with two transducers. Will have LED lights....and other stuff I may think of....LOL.

The problem with running in 4 inches of water you have to be wide open .. Now hope you can find a place you can turn it around .... Wide open... If not you have to set it down and you are high and dry ... Know from first hand experience ... <'TK><:)

Welcome in my boat anytime Jeremy. Really looking forward to getting it. Not having a kayak has really curtailed my fishing this summer. Last year in the kayak using the si unit I was finding and catching fish. I will pick boat up in Florida on September 1st......my buddy will need a few days to rig the gear I am going to put on it. So am hoping to be on the water with it by September 15th.

Ott......this has been the most frustrating experience I have been through trying to buy something. There were several brands of aluminum boats I priced out having them built as I wanted....nothing at all special on any of them. You name the brand and I will almost guarantee you a 2 to 4 month wait if you want it built to your specs. I had it down to the boat I ordered and an Alweld from Lawrenceburg Marine.....build time was 3-4 months for the Alweld and I really didn't like it so this is where I'm at.

I had a boat built once. I will now buy one off a lot.
I bought from Lawrenceburg Marine. I have known Ronnie and Steve for years and had bought other boats from them. There was no fault by them or the manufacturer. It just takes time if you buy from a busy manufacturer because they are booked with orders and you have to be worked in.
IMO, there is no better dealer anywhere than Lawrenceburg Marine. Not sure where they rank now, however they were always the NO. 1 Bullett dealer in the SE.

They are a great dealer. They just did not have what I was looking for. I have bought 5 boats off the lot...but when I bought those was I not concerned about storage length. I am buying another house within the year. If it is possible I will have a garage of at least 25 feet in length......I hope.

Bigger garage, bigger boat. Keep me in mind when you sell this one. :)
