Well unfortunately, I have not made it out to trout fish in a while, but that is not going to stop me from fishing the Trout magnet! I have the past few weeks been heading out to some local ponds for bass, but i always bring my trout magnet set up along. The past few evenings i have been throwing a bison colored TM with a black jig head. 2lb sos line and phantom fluorocarbon leader. I have been throwing it with the float, and have had a lot of success. many gills in the 7-8" range, and more than a handful in the 9-10" range, with a couple over that. Also, I have found a few interesting patterns. I always manage to have bass blow up on the TM float a few times every now and then. This has been when using a red colored TM float. Today for no particular reason, I tied on a green colored float, and mixed in with my bag of bluegill I caught 3 nice bass, i have no clue if it had to do with a different colored float or not. No measurements, but they were all between a pound to just under 2 pounds. That was lots of fun on the two pound line! (I will attempt to add the pictures, but I am still unfamiliar with how to do it on the computer).

That sounds like fun.
Looks like you need to rig up a stinger hook on the TM float. LOL
Tight lines.
