Kayak Fishing

Moving from NC where I did a lot of ocean fishing, I am looking to find where I can take my Kayak near Oakland and catch some fish. I have been to Herb Parsons lake but haven't had much luck there yet.
Was thinking of taking a weekend trip down the Hatchie river if anyone is interested.

The Hatchie is good, but up right now, but I'd be interested when it comes down. There were some guys on Tennessee Kayak Anglers, and West Tennessee Bass Yakkers Facebook pages talking about the Hatchie the other day.
