I know this is a long shot but whoever stole it has probably bragged about it so please let me know if you hear anything. There is a BPS baitcaster rod/reel combo, Abu Garcia baitcaster rod/reel combo and also a BPS rod/Pfleuger reel spin combo that were stolen from me at JPP last night.
I left them there on accident, just drove off foolishly without putting them in my Jeep. I got home and realized it, rushed back but they were already gone. I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist for them to show up. The BPS combo my dad got for me as a birthday gift so it means a lot.
This all happened after having an awesome night wading and catching some quality Hybrids, that post will be coming at a later time!

Feel your pain. I did it twice...once at the ramp at Williamsport and once left gear on the sidewalk outside my house and it was gone. I know that don't make you feel any better but many of us have done it. Hope you get it back.

Man, that just all around sucks. People that take what's not theirs really, really chap me.
I know how you feel and I'm sorry you have to deal with it.

It sure does suck that people are that way. If I had found it, I either would have left it or most likely taken it and left a note saying to call me and I'd bring their gear back. That eliminates the possibility of a thief taking it. But.. not everyone is an honest man like me.
I'll keep checking Craigslist but I'm considering these gone for good. I'm planning to stop at Hook1 Saturday to replace one of the baitcasters and replacing the other 2 rods will come with time.
I can say this, I hope the scumbag who stole my gear goes to set the hook, misses the hookset, and a jig with a big hook comes out and gets him in the face. Was that harsh? That's how I feel about thieves.

Not harsh at all... I hate to hear that this happened to you. I know it's a hell of a way to end a great day on the water.

Could you leave a lost gear sign where they were with your number , might be worth shot.

I have some gear you can have to keep you on the water for now. Nothing fancy, though.

That's very kind and I really do appreciate it, I had a few others on facebook make that offer to me as well. I'm not able to do a whole lot of fishing this month anyway since I'm out of town for work. I'll replace one baitcaster this weekend since the two that got stolen were the only two I had and get by with that and the other couple rods I have for now.

I suppose that couldn't hurt, right? I might head out there again Sunday afternoon and leave a sign.

Worth a shot, maybe someone will come clean. If you need a casting rod I have the Carrot stix black you could have. I don't use it and I can't guarantee how long it will last before you break it. I went through 7 a couple years ago before I gave up on them.
