Took the yak out to a stream and found a few chunky spots, and also found a few good fish on priest! It was a good weekend! Fish were hitting slab magnets in 4-6' on priest, 49-56 degree water.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/24/a7d91d2c658e046e7b320e5f1d542f01.jpg

Those are beauties Mike.
That is why I did not say you couldn't catch fish in the other post. :D

Mike,
You are having just to much fun catching fish.
Love the smile.
We need to get together some day and let you teach me.
How are the Crappie Slabs working?

Nice football! Life is getting in the way of my fishing. Do you cast your magnets and twitch or use a float?

Nice job Mike!
That water looks better than any I have fished recently.

the state of Tennessee grows the biggest spots I've ever seen. I think they fight more like a smallie. Nice fish

Nice to meet you too! Juice, I am a twitching guy, I've used a float with a TM just a few times. I forgot to post this hawg I got Friday night on a topwater! Biggest bass I've caught in a while!

@MNFisher
Was the 56 degree water in the river or in the lake? What time of day? I'm assuming late...
55 degrees has always been my magic # for smallies. I think tomorrow before the rain/cold front moves through should be best conditions for a while.

It was in the lake in the late afternoon in a wind blown cove, main lake was 54.
